The Smilist Dental in Shrewsbury, NJ is seeking a Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our welcoming practice. This role supports patients from check-in to treatment plan presentation, verifies insurance, collects payments, and keeps the office running smoothly. Ideal candidates have dental reception experience, strong communication, team spirit, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience as Dental Receptionist or front desk role.
• Experience creating and presenting treatment plans to patients.
• Knowledge of verifying insurance and collecting payments.

Responsibilities

• Receptionist tasks including answering the office phone and routing calls.
• Checking-in patients (insurance verification and information confirmation).
• Creating and presenting treatment plans to patients.
• Collecting payments from patients.
• Communicating patient arrivals promptly.
• Managing administrative records to support daily operations.
• Encouraging patients to schedule follow-up visits and return appointments.

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receptionist tasks include answering the office phone and distributing calls or messages accordingly


• Checking-in patients (verifying insurance and confirming patient information)


• Creating and presenting treatment plans to patients


• Collecting payments


• Communicating patient’s arrival promptly


• Managing administrative records


• Ensure office success by getting patients into the office

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist - at least 1 year


• Prior Treatment Planning experience highly preferred


• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently


• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full Time - some Saturday availability required


• Salary Range:$25.00-$33.00/hour


• Location:Shrewsbury, NJ
