The Smilist in Shrewsbury, NJ is seeking a Dental Patient Coordinator to greet and assist patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and keep accurate records. This role supports a warm, professional dental practice focused on patient care.

Candidates should have proven reception experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy office environment. Dentrix experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answering the office phone and routing calls/messages.
• Check-in patients, verify insurance and confirm information.
• Process patient payments.
• Notify patients of arrivals promptly.
• Manage administrative records.
• Encourage patient flow into the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receptionist tasks include answering the office phone and distributing calls or messages accordingly
• Checking-in patients (verifying insurance and confirming patient information)
• Collecting payments
• Communicating patient’s arrival promptly
• Managing administrative records
• Ensure office success by getting patients into the office

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays
• Salary Range:$22.00-$28.00/hour
• Location:Shrewsbury, NJ
