Job summary

Team Perio in California is hiring a full‑time dental assistant to support our dental surgery team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, and help maintain a calm, patient‑friendly environment.

We offer a wage of $17–$20 per hour DOE, a 36–40 hour work week, and a benefits package including health insurance after 30 days. Training is provided; high school diploma required, positive attitude and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for safe, high‑quality surgery.

• Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all treatment rooms for safe, predictable, and high‑quality surgery for patients
• Treatment room set‑up, decontamination, sterilization of all instruments, cleaning, and restocking
• Order supplies
• Break down and dispose of supply cardboard boxes, as needed
• Take radiographic images as prescribed by the doctor (after proper certification, which we will provide)
• Maintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients
• Communicate with other essential team members to coordinate patient flow and comfort
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• We are more interested in finding the right candidate and are willing to train; experience in a dental or medical office setting is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

Wage: $17–$20 per hour DOE

90‑day review and wage assessment, with potential for increase

36–40 hour work week

• Health insurance benefit after 30 days; all other benefits eligible after the 90‑day probation period
• 40 hours of vacation (accrued annually), doubling at year 3 of service
• 5 days of sick pay per year
