Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Specialty Healthcare Coordinator to partner with supported Specialists and drive patient commitment to start diagnosed treatment. The role emphasizes educating patients on financial options, overcoming objections, and maintaining a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) while supporting a Patient for Life (PFL) approach.

The SHC will manage scheduling with specialists, assist with pre-authorizations, and act as a liaison between office and specialty teams to ensure smooth,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Travel may be required between offices.
• Preferred coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.

Responsibilities

• Gain a financial commitment from patients to start diagnosed treatment.
• Educate patients on treatment options and financial plans.
• Coordinate with specialists to keep schedules full and productive.
• Assist patients in understanding insurance pre-authorizations.
• Support PPE and create a Positive Patient Experience.
