Job summary

Heartland Dental, at 1st Advantage Dental - Glenville, in New York, is seeking a Dental Receptionist for a full-time role with Mon–Thu 7:30am–5:00pm and Fridays as needed. Pay ranges from $22 to $26 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Greet patients, manage the front desk, schedule with Dentrix, verify insurance, post payments, and support a collaborative team dedicated to patient care and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, and emails; communicate with patients and insurers.
• Schedule appointments using Dentrix for multiple providers.
• Verify insurance and explain coverage, post insurance payments and accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
