Job summary

HealthPartners seeks a casual Dental Receptionist who will travel between HealthPartners Dental Clinics. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handle scheduling, billing, and patient records, and support clinicians with efficient clinic operations.

The position requires strong communication, data entry, and multitasking abilities, with to-be-traveled between locations as needed. Prior dental reception experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of formal training in medical reception or customer service program.
  • Two years experience as a medical or dental receptionist or in medical/dental insurance processing.
  • Two years experience in a customer service position.
  • One year experience with data look-up and data entry on PC systems.
  • One year customer service experience in-person or by phone within last five years.
  • Ability to organize work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with patients and customers professionally in person and by phone.
  • Schedules patient appointments and coordinates with provider schedules.
  • Reviews patient records and informs patients about charges and insurance details.
  • Maintains teamwork and collaborates with colleagues to balance workloads.
  • May perform other duties as needed to support clinic operations.
