Job summary

Specialized Dental Partners is seeking a friendly Dental Receptionist for our West Texas Endodontics location. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth daily operations.

The role involves scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance while providing excellent patient service in a fast-paced dental practice.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and maintain a welcoming front-desk environment.
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and coordinate patient communications.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations when needed.
  • Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Coordinate patient flow and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Overview

Dental Receptionist - West Texas Endodontics

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in delivering an excellent patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice.


Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm and Friday 7am-12pm (hours can vary depending on the schedule)


Responsibilities


  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars

  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication

  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations

  • Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records

  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry

  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed

  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations

  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Customer service, healthcare, scheduling or patient-facing experience

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications

The salary range for this role is $19-$21 per hour.
