Job summary

Swish Dental in Austin, TX is seeking a motivated Collections/RCM Specialist to join onsite. You will manage patient and insurance balances, contact patients, set up payment plans, and document all activities while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

You should have at least 2 years in dental collections and revenue cycle management, proficient with OpenDental, Dentrix or Eaglesoft, and strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in dental collections and revenue cycle management.
• Proficiency with dental billing software (OpenDental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing processes and dental plans (CPT, ICD-10).

Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding patient and insurance balances and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Contact patients by phone, email, text, and written communication about past-due balances.
• Set up and monitor payment arrangements per policies.
• Process and document patient payments and account adjustments.
• Review accounts for insurance balances and coordinate with billing/RCM to resolve issues.
• Identify discrepancies, denials, unapplied payments, and credits.
