Western Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to prioritize patient care and support doctors with chair-side procedures. You will take and process radiographs, manage charts and ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires radiography certification, a high school diploma, and state-specific dental assistant credentials. CPR and nitrous oxide certifications are preferred, with OSHA/HIPAA training ongoing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Current nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, making the patient the priority.
• Assist doctors with dental procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review charts, log data and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment per guidelines.
• Educate patients and address questions/concerns.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and safety guidelines.
• Support scheduling and lab coordination to ensure smooth flow.
