Job summary

Enhance-Dental seeks a Chairside Dental Assistant to support the dentist during procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure a positive patient experience. The role includes radiography, patient instruction, and basic office tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will hold an active dental assistant license where required, CPR, and radiography certification, with experience assisting in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current dental assistant license/registration as per state regulations.
• CPR certification required; radiography certification as applicable to duties.
• Expanded Functions preferred per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Sit chairside to relax the patient and hand the dentist proper equipment during appointments.
• Sterilize instruments, prepare dental materials and cements, process and mount radiographs and pour and trim cast molds.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) and maintain infection control.
• Update and maintain patient records/charts and assist with office management tasks.
