Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Working knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare and commercial plans is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC practice management system is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; answer calls and take messages.
• Register patients, collect demographic/insurance info, and post payments.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate cancellations and additions.
• Assist with patient education and directing to appropriate areas.
• Support enrollment in MyChart and use EPIC EMR for data entry.
• Maintain accurate patient data and verify insurance details throughout visits.
• Ensure efficient patient flow and accurate check-out procedures.
