Job summary

Indian Health Council in California is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to deliver outstanding front-office service. You will verify patient insurance, update records, schedule appointments and collect payments, serving as the patient advocate and coordinating with dental personnel.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 2–3 years of related experience, with a focus on accurate data entry, communication, and teamwork in a busy dental setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ dental PSR experience or minimum 2 years’ RDA experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and provide courteous assistance.
• Update demographics, insurance, and patient information in the Practice Management System.
• Verify third-party coverage and enter data into system.
• Check patients in for appointments and collect copayments.
• Assist with registration forms and patient education on eligibility rules.
• Coordinate scheduling and rescheduling to manage daily flow.
