Job summary

Benevis is hiring a Patient Coordinator to join our dental team. You will deliver first-class customer service at check-in/out, verify insurance, and ensure smooth patient flow. This role focuses on kids and families, coordinating with clinicians to support same-day care and maintain strong patient relationships.

The ideal candidate has high school or GED, experience in a dental setting, and a comfort with pediatric dentistry. We offer competitive compensation and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalent.
• Office experience in a dentist's or physician's office, preferred.
• Experience with children's dentistry, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits.
• Greet parents and patients entering or leaving the office.
• Keep parents informed of appointment progress for their child.
• Maintain a clean waiting area and front desk area.
• Verify insurance and service limits in patient records.
• Communicate service limits with clinical team before treatment.
• Prepare patient files before appointments.
• Coordinate with Clinical Team Leader and Doctors for same-day care.
• Assist in meeting office financial targets by keeping hygiene and operative schedules full.
• Schedule follow-up operatory and six-month recall appointments.
• Answer incoming calls and direct callers to the proper contact.
• Call patients to confirm appointments and reschedule when needed.
• Re-file patient records at end of day.
• Adhere to government regulations and company policies.
