Turpin Orthodontics in Ruston, LA, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support the Ruston/West Monroe/Monroe team with a patient-centered approach and strong attention to detail. The role requires travel to multiple locations on a weekly basis and offers a full-time schedule with a Monday-Thursday 7:45 AM–5:15 PM shift and Friday mornings.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of administrative experience in a dental or medical setting is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel weekly to Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients when they arrive at the office.
• Schedule appointments for patients.
• Maintain patient accounts and records.
• Prepare and send patient bills.
• Submit patient claims to insurance companies.
• Assist patients with intake and medical forms.
• Confirm appointments by phone or email.
• Coordinate communication with referring offices.
• Manage payment plans.
• Keep office supplies stocked and ordered.
• Process basic billing statements and collect patient payments.
• Verify and update patient insurance information.
• Sort and organize mail.
• Maintain a professional reception area.
