Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley seeks a Dental Supervisor to oversee the dental staff across all sites and ensure efficient, patient-centered service while upholding UHC policies. This exempt role reports to the Health Center Manager and calls for leadership, scheduling, staff development, and coordination with dentists to maintain quality care and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a California RDA license or DA certificate, Lifesaving and driver's license, bilingual

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; California RDA license or DA certificate required.
• Lifesaving Certification and Driver's License required.
• 2 years supervisory or management experience in dental setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Dental Assistants and Dental Receptionists at all sites.
• Proactively manage provider schedules and templates for appropriate appointments.
• Provide coaching, training and staff development; assist with recruitment and hiring.
• Ensure DA/RDA functions and coverage; coordinate site audits and data entry corrections.
• Attend meetings and support flexible hours; maintain HIPAA privacy and professional conduct.
