Job summary

United Health Centers seeks a Dental Supervisor to oversee the Dental Assistants and Dental Receptionists across multiple sites, ensuring efficient patient flow and adherence to UHC policies. This exempt role reports to the Health Center Manager and drives quality care while maintaining patient satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will manage provider schedules, coach staff, assist with hiring, and coordinate DA/RDA functions, with emphasis on compliance, confidentiality, and teamwork across

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• RDA California License or DA Certificate.
• Lifesaving Certification.
• Driver's License.
• 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a dental setting preferred.
• Knowledge of dental insurances and billing preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Dental Assistants and Dental Receptionists.
• Provide leadership and support for UHC dental operations at assigned health centers.
• Proactively manage provider appointment schedules and templates.
• Provide coaching, training, counseling and staff development.
• Assist with recruitment and hiring for dental staff.
• Coordinate DA/RDA functions and coverage for staff.
• Coordinate dental staffing to ensure quality care.
• Perform site audits/visits and ensure timely data entry corrections.
