Job summary

Gentle Dental is seeking an experienced Office Supervisor to lead the front office team, oversee scheduling, and ensure exceptional patient experiences. The role partners with providers and office leadership to maintain smooth clinical and administrative operations.

The ideal candidate has dental office leadership experience, strong communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care. This is a full-time position with one Saturday per month and competitive hourly pay in the Washington state

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a dental or clinical office setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for front-office leadership.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the front office team in daily duties and office standards.
• Monitor and improve provider schedules to boost productivity and patient access.
• Fill open schedule time and minimize gaps or cancellations.
• Maintain professional communication with providers about scheduling and patient needs.
• Support patient experience by addressing questions and service recovery when needed.
• Ensure timely, friendly communication in person and over the phone.
• Train and onboard new front office staff on processes and expectations.
• Maintain accurate patient records, scheduling, and insurance information.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams for smooth daily operations.
• Assist the Practice Manager in implementing goals, workflows, and initiatives.
• Monitor front office workflows for efficiency and exceptional service.
• Assist in managing daily patient flow and operational challenges.
• Promote professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and HIPAA.
