A growing dental organization is seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Dental Office Recruiter to support hiring across multiple dental offices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, identifying talent, building candidate pipelines, and developing creative recruiting strategies.

The organization is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and recognizes that successful dental teams begin with hiring the right people. The recruiter will play an important role in attracting and retaining qualified clinical and administrative professionals while improving the overall candidate experience.

Position Summary

The Dental Office Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for clinical and administrative positions, including dental hygienists, dental assistants, front-office personnel, and other assigned roles. Working closely with regional leadership, hiring managers, and HR, this individual will develop sourcing strategies, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support hiring decisions.

Beyond filling immediate vacancies, this position will focus on building long-term talent pipelines, establishing relationships with dental education programs, promoting employment opportunities through job boards and social media, and improving recruitment processes through data analysis and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is organized, personable, proactive, and comfortable balancing immediate hiring needs with long-term workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment
  • Manage recruitment from initial sourcing and screening through interviews, offers, and onboarding handoffs.
  • Partner with regional managers and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, establish position requirements, and prioritize open positions.
  • Source, screen, interview, and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Create and maintain engaging job advertisements across appropriate job boards and recruitment platforms.
  • Monitor open positions and adjust sourcing strategies to improve applicant volume and candidate quality.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers regarding candidate pipelines, hiring progress, challenges, and recommended next steps.
  • Assist with recruiting dentists and other specialized or hard-to-fill clinical positions as needed.
Candidate Sourcing and Talent Pipeline Development
  • Develop proactive strategies to attract qualified clinical and administrative candidates.
  • Build relationships with dental hygiene and dental assisting schools to support student recruitment, externships, and new-graduate hiring.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, educational events, and professional networking opportunities.
  • Coordinate recruitment-related social media content and employer branding initiatives.
  • Explore new sourcing channels and develop relationships with candidates who may not be actively seeking employment.
  • Maintain long-term candidate relationships to support current and future staffing needs.
Interviewing and Hiring Manager Support
  • Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews.
  • Apply motivational-based interviewing principles to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, motivation, and alignment with position requirements.
  • Develop structured interview guides and resources to support consistent and objective evaluations.
  • Partner with hiring managers to strengthen interviewing skills and improve hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with HR to coordinate interview training and provide resources that support effective hiring practices.
  • Promote a professional, responsive, and positive candidate experience.
Recruitment Metrics and Process Improvement
  • Track recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, open requisitions, sourcing effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and candidate pipeline activity.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Evaluate sourcing channels and recruiting strategies to determine what produces the strongest results.
  • Use recruitment data and hiring manager feedback to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and hiring outcomes.
  • Communicate recruiting progress, challenges, and recommended adjustments to leadership.
Professional Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple open positions, competing priorities, and deadlines while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Build productive relationships through clear communication, timely follow-up, and accountability.
  • Handle confidential candidate, employee, and organizational information appropriately.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable employment laws, equal employment opportunity requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Stay current on recruitment practices, sourcing tools, technology, and industry trends.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
