Job summary

AltaMed is seeking a Dental Supervisor to oversee dental back-office operations, including patient flow, sterilization, inventory management, charting, and safety practices. The role includes mentoring and training new staff to ensure efficient clinical workflows and high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least one year of leadership experience in a dental office, and Active Registered Dental Assistant certification with sealant certification, plus current BLS

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a dental office setting is required.
• Active Registered Dental Assistant certification with sealant certification is required.
• Current valid BLS certification is required.
• BLS certification or higher must follow AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate staff functions related to dental back office, including patient flow, sterilization, inventory, and supply ordering.
• Ensure efficiency of back office dental operations and mentor, coach, and train new staff.
• Maintain chart documentation, quality and safety practices for dental back-office staff.
