Smiles at Fairfax Corner in Fairfax, Virginia, seeks a Dental Practice Supervisor to lead the dental team and ensure outstanding patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

You’ll oversee daily operations, supervise coordinators, assistants, hygienists, and treatment coordinators, manage scheduling and front-office tasks, and support billing and insurance processes while maintaining accurate finances and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a dental office is required.
• Experience in insurance processes and billing is a must.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to work independently in fast paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and practice management software.
• Strong attention to detail, compliance, and confidentiality in handling patient records and office operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure office efficiency, compliance, and a high standard of patient care.
• Supervise and support patient coordinators, dental assistants, hygienists, and treatment coordinators to maintain smooth workflows.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and front-office operations to optimize productivity and patient experience.
• Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance processes while ensuring accurate financial transactions.
• Monitor office finances, including expense management, invoice submission, collections, and receivables, to maintain profitability.
• Maintain office inventory by overseeing supplies, equipment, and facility cleanliness for an organized and professional environment.
• Lead hiring, training, and staff development while addressing patient and employee concerns professionally to foster a positive workplace culture.
