Dental Office Front Desk Receptionist - Full Time

Job Summary

The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors and delivering exceptional customer service. This includes answering calls, addressing visitor questions, and creating a welcoming environment. The role also involves training in instrument sterilization and room turnover when needed.

Compensation

Depends on skill and experience.

Office Hours

Mon 9am-5pm, Tues 12pm-8pm, Wed 11am-6pm, Thurs 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-3pm.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and helpfully.
  • Review patient fees, benefits, and exclusions.
  • Manage inbound calls and route them properly.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Assist with instrument sterilization and room turnover after training.
  • Help with billing and insurance processing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office and reception area, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and educational sessions.
  • Update insurance information accurately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary training preferred.
  • Two years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor.
  • Professional, dependable, and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, with ability to stay calm under stress.
  • Experience with Eaglesoft software is a plus.
  • Strong computer and internet skills.
