Position: Business Assistant

Church Creek Dental Care is seeking a Business Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Greet and welcome patients, creating a positive first impression
  2. Handle front office duties: answer phones, manage mail and email, communicate with patients and insurance companies
  3. Use Dentrix for scheduling and record management
  4. Schedule and confirm patient appointments for multiple providers
  5. File insurance claims, follow up on outstanding claims, verify benefits, explain coverage
  6. Post payments, process accounts receivable
  7. Discuss treatment fees and payment options with patients
  8. Collaborate with providers to implement office systems for efficiency

About Church Creek Dental Care

Located off 72nd Ave., across from Haggen, our office is a fast-paced, collaborative environment serving the community with a goal-oriented approach.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  2. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  3. Access to minimal PHI necessary for the role, with HIPAA training required
Preferred Experience
  1. 1+ years in dental or medical settings
  2. 1+ years in insurance billing and accounts receivable
  3. Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software
Physical Requirements
  1. Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
  2. Sitting at a desk and working on a computer for extended periods
  3. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  4. Availability for periodic training sessions
  5. TB test required prior to employment, arranged during pre-employment (except in FL & TN)
