Job summary

National Dentex, LLC is seeking a Dental Lab Technician Trainee for the NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, MI. Training is provided; no previous dental experience is required. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits and a clear path for advancement.

Regular hours are 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday, and duties include reading dentist prescriptions, bending wires for removable appliances, and other lab tasks as assigned. Training will cover materials and preparation techniques.

Qualifications

• No dental experience required; paid training will be provided.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• Bend wires for removable ortho appliances
• All other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Knowledge tooth anatomy
• Ability to articulate according to Rx
• Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
• Identify through Impressions margins

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• No experience required; paid training will be provided
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

• Pliers, Wire Cutters, Air Hose, Bunsen Burner, Wax Pot

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
• Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
• Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information
• Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color
