Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments.
• Coordinate with patients to understand coverage and explain benefits clearly.
• Obtain and update patient insurance information in our system.
• Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims in a timely manner.
• Track and follow up on outstanding claims and denials, resolving discrepancies.
• Educate patients about coverage, co-pays, and payment options.
• Post insurance payments and adjustments to patient accounts; monitor AR.
• Maintain accurate records of claims and communications; stay updated on policy changes.
