VCU Dental Care in Richmond, VA is seeking a Dental Insurance Billing Specialist to manage insurance billing and revenue cycle functions across our practices serving the VCU School of Dentistry. You will submit claims, post payments, resolve denials, and follow aging reports.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in dental billing, experience with CDT coding, EHRs, and strong communication. This on-site role offers benefits including health, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental billing, CDT coding, and revenue cycle processes.
• Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Windows-based systems; Google Apps preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to research and resolve payer and claims issues independently.
