Affordable Dentures & Implants seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. You'll provide chairside support through denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and removable prosthetics, while educating patients on care and treatment options.

The role involves preparing operatories, assisting with impressions and wax bites, and maintaining infection control standards in a fast-paced environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification required if state mandates.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Aufgaben

• Deliver chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions; prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties where allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, and home care instructions.
