Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state-specific certification may apply.
• Certified Dental Assistant and X-ray certification as required by state.
• Strong communication and patient service skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment and materials for procedures.
• Assist during dentures, implants, oral surgery, extractions and prosthetic treatments.
• Take alginate denture impressions, select trays and prepare wax bites.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs as permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, options, post-operative care and costs.
• Document patient histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and travel for training as needed.
