Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support chairside care across denture procedures, implants, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. You’ll work with dentists and in-house lab staff to deliver high-quality tooth replacement solutions while growing your skills in a dynamic practice.

The role emphasizes patient education, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming, positive experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties as allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, and home care instructions.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards within the practice.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
