Job Responsibilities

1. Perform dental hygiene treatments, including dental prophylaxis procedures to remove calculus, accretions, excess or flash restorative materials, and stains from teeth and beneath the gingiva.
2. Evaluate patients to identify hygiene needs and determine dental hygiene treatment plans.
3. Provide instruction to patients on dental hygiene practices.
4. Assist dentists during dental procedures.
5. Perform clerical tasks to facilitate the operation of the dental office.
6. Work under the supervision of a dentist, with review through observation and evaluation.

Additional Details

• Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
• Position does not allow telework.
• Salary may be non-negotiable in some cases.

Qualifications

Special Requirements

• License to practice as a dental hygienist issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
