As a Corrections Unit Manager for the DOC, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skill set while working for an agency that strives to support inmates by providing quality educational opportunities and treatment programs. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring unit programs at SCI Coal Township, collaborating with leadership to develop and revise unit mission statements, operational goals, objectives, and procedures.
Excellent leadership skills are vital, as you will supervise a multi-disciplinary staff and implement the overall unit program. This role includes providing training, performance appraisals, and professional development for all personnel assigned to the unit. You will oversee the management of unit resources, contribute to budget development, monitor security, and serve as a responsive professional to address concerns of staff and inmates.
