Centurion Health seeks a part-time Dental Hygienist for Jackson Correctional Institution in Malone, FL. The hygienist will perform prophylaxis, radiographs, and other hygiene procedures for inmates, while maintaining records and delivering oral hygiene education.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, complete a dental hygiene program, hold a Florida Hygienist license, provide PPD documentation and CPR certification, and be able to obtain security clearance.

Centurion/CDPN provides quality dental services to over 70,000 inmates throughout the state of Florida.We are currently seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team at Jackson Correctional Institution located in Malone, Florida.The Dental Hygienist performs oral hygiene treatment for offenders to include prophylaxis, curettage, and other hygienist procedures in a correctional setting.Essential Duties:Operating radiographic equipment to obtain dental radiographs of patientsMaintaining patient dental recordsCompleting required reports/paperworkProviding personal oral hygiene education and instruction individually or in a group settingHigh school diploma or GED equivalent requiredSuccessful completion of a dental hygiene program requiredFlorida Dental Hygienist licenseMust show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screeningMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable Shift: Days, Monday-Thursday.
