Crossgates Dental in Slidell, LA is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our patient-centered team and advance whole-body wellness through preventive care.

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana Hygienist license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.
• Minimum 1 year of RDH clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients during check-ups.
• Review patient history.
• Administer prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing.
• Document area of existing restorations.
• Use of X-ray.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients on their oral hygiene.
• Conduct screenings.
• Assist patients with oral hygiene.
