Crossgates Dental is now hiring a Full Time Dental Hygienist in Slidell, Louisiana. As a Full Time Dental Hygienist, join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business, and operations professionals at our small practice with great hours. This is an amazing opportunity for a personal and professional Dental Hygienist to join our caring team with our mission to provide quality care to patients in our patient-centered dental practice.
We're flexible! 3 Days between Monday through Thursday 7:45am - 5:00pm

- Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
- Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
- Reviewing patient's history and charting
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents area of existing restorations
- Use of X-ray
- Support the dentist with procedures as needed
- Active Louisiana Hygienist license
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience
- Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
- Experience with dental practice software
