Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing.
• Conduct periodontal charting and patient assessments.
• Take and review digital radiographs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Maintain clinical documentation and infection control protocols.
• Create a comfortable and positive patient experience.

Schedule
Full-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
• Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
• Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state required
