Job summary

Gentle Dental Care | Lorton is seeking a friendly and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our private practice. We value compassionate care, teamwork, and a top‑notch patient experience in a warm, welcoming environment.

You will perform routine dental cleanings, take digital radiographs as needed, conduct periodontal assessments, and educate patients on oral hygiene and prevention. We offer both full‑time and part‑time schedules with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active VA dental hygienist license.
• CPR certification.
• BLS certification.
• X-ray / Radiography certification.
• Nitrous oxide certification.
• Expanded functions dental hygienist certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings and preventive care.
• Take digital radiographs as needed.
• Conduct periodontal assessments and maintain accurate charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with dentist and dental team to provide comprehensive care.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Additional Compensation: Quarterly bonus plan

Requirements

• License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic life support, Licensed dental hygienist

Active Dental Hygienist license in VA

CPR certification
