Description

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team!

Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing healthcare services to the Clark and Madison County communities.

We are looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our Dental Team. Responsibilities include following OSHA standards, sterilization of instruments, and routine maintenance of the clinic and equipment. You must maintain accurate dental records and assist dentists and staff as needed. Enjoy a four-day work week and collaborate with a dedicated Dental team at RHCHC!

Position Details

Title: Dental Hygienist

Primary Service Center: Springfield, Ohio (Main Campus - South Limestone Location)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt – Hourly

Work Hours: Monday-Thursday; closed on Friday

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited hygiene program
• Valid Ohio license to practice dental hygiene
• Experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a team and maintain good relationships with colleagues and patients
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Education and experience as outlined above
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to establish effective working relationships and motivate patients
• Proficiency in preparing and maintaining records
• Computer skills: database, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software
