Missoula Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care by performing thorough dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in maintaining an efficient office environment.

Responsibilities

1. Maintaining patient medical records, updating patient medical history, and vital signs as needed.
2. Conducting complete patient X-ray procedures, including taking, developing, and storing X-Rays as necessary.
3. Completing periodontal charting as directed.
4. Preparing tools and equipment necessary for the Provider and assisting the Provider with exams as necessary.
5. Performing preventative periodontal care on patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, root planning, and the application of preventative agents and sealants.
6. Administering local anesthesia as necessary.
7. Educating patients on the importance of dental hygiene.

Qualifications

1. One (1) or more years of practical experience as a dental hygienist.
2. Registered Dental Hygienist License.
3. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
