Benevis is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our Maryland-based team, delivering high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric and general patients under dentist supervision. You will perform scaling, prophylaxis, X-rays, sealants, and fluoride applications while educating families and maintaining comprehensive patient records.

The role emphasizes same-day care where possible, adherence to safety standards, and seamless coordination with the dental team.

Qualifications

• Current state Dental Hygienist license.
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, including a hands-on skills assessment (required at hire)

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient.
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application, and related procedures under general dentist supervision.
• Offer same-day care whenever possible to provide excellent customer service.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene.
• Assess dental condition and needs, and review patients' medical history.
• Guide parents and patients through the full treatment process.
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed.
• Take and file x-rays in patient charts as needed.
• Follow all government regulations and company standards.

What You'll Do As a Dental Hygienst
