Job summary

Benevis is hiring a Dental Hygienist in Augusta, Georgia. You will provide preventive and diagnostic dental services to patients, perform scaling, X-rays, sealants, and fluoride treatments under supervision, and educate families on oral hygiene.

Qualifications

• Current state Dental Hygienist license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, compassionate care to each patient.
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride applications under supervision.
• Deliver same-day care when possible to enhance patient service.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Assess dental conditions, review medical history, and document findings.
• Guide patients through the full treatment process with care and clarity.
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed and file X-rays.
• Adhere to government regulations and company standards.

What You’ll Do As a Dental Hygienst

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application, and related procedures under general dentist supervision
• Offer same-day care whenever possible to provide excellent customer service
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene
• Assess dental condition and needs, and review patients' medical history
• Guide parents and patients through the full treatment process
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed
• Take and file x-rays in patient charts as needed
• Follow all government regulations and company standards

What You’ll Need

• Current state Dental Hygienist license
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, including a hands-on skills assessment (required at hire)
