Skills and Experience Needed

• Current state license to practice dental hygiene
• Ability to educate patients effectively on their oral health needs
• Strong communication skills
• A desire to focus on preventative care
• Ability to perform clinical procedures such as prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride applications

Maintaining annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings as required by law is also expected.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
• Sitting at a desk and working on a computer for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
