Job summary

Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners is seeking a Pediatric Dental Hygienist to promote oral health for children and provide preventive care in a friendly, kid-focused environment.

You will perform cleanings, apply sealants and fluoride, and take X-rays while educating families on proper dental care. A license in the relevant state and CPR/BLS are required, with pediatric experience preferred. This position emphasizes teamwork and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred.
• Strong knowledge of preventive dental care and patient education.
• Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral health assessments and chart conditions for the doctor’s review.

• Identify potential oral health concerns and communicate findings to the dentist.
