Job summary

Savannah Technical College invites applications for a 12-month full-time Dental Hygiene Instructor on the Savannah Campus. The instructor reports to the Dean for Health Sciences and the Department Head of the Dental Hygiene Program to teach, develop curriculum, assess student outcomes, and coordinate clinical experiences.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene, Georgia license, 2 years of clinical practice, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Active Georgia Dental Hygienist license.
• Two years clinical practice experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, manage, and supervise in classrooms, labs, and clinics using appropriate teaching methods.
• Prepare lesson plans and develop curriculum for dental hygiene courses.
• Coordinate cooperative work experiences and advise students.
