Job summary

Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) seeks a Dental Hygiene Clinical Coordinator to provide clinical instruction and leadership for the DHY program at Arnold/Main Campus. This role requires either a registered dental hygienist (RDH) or a DDS/DMD, with responsibilities aligned to licensure and CODA standards.

The coordinator will oversee clinic operations, patient care, equipment maintenance, and faculty coordination, while supporting student learning, assessment, and program analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and active Maryland license to practice dental hygiene.
• Minimum of two years of dental hygiene teaching experience.
• Must have active Maryland license, CPR, and local anesthesia certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical instruction and operations for the DHY program.
• Supervise students in the AACC Dental Clinic and ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Coordinate day-to-day clinic operations, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with CODA standards and Maryland regulations.
• Engage in recruitment, program assessment, and collaboration with faculty.
