Job summary

Responsibilities include greeting patients, reviewing health histories, assisting hygienists, preparing rooms, stocking supplies, and using Dentrix for scheduling and records. This role requires a high school diploma and HIPAA training.

Qualifications

• On the job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements.
• High school graduate or GED Equivalent.
• Team Player with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
• Regular HIPAA training and PHI protection are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey and provide patient education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Provide superior assistance to hygienists during procedures and prepare treatment rooms.
• Set up rooms, stock and restock instruments and supplies for hygiene visits.
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Ensure safety protocols aligning with OSHA & CDC guidelines during all activities.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
