Job summary

Wake Forest Dental Arts is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This entry-level role offers comprehensive on-the-job training and a clear path for development within a world-class organization focused on patient care.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements.
• High school graduate or GED Equivalent.
• Team Player with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
• Regular HIPAA training and protection of PHI.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Provide support to hygienists during procedures per state act.
• Set up rooms for hygiene visits and stock supplies.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with adherence to OSHA & CDC safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
