Qualifications

• On the job training and certification may be required based on state requirements.
• High school graduate or GED Equivalent.
• Team Player.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, as well as sustain patient comfort and provide education during treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Assist supported hygienists during procedures following state dental practice acts.
• Set up rooms for hygiene visits, stocking and restocking instruments and supplies.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with OSHA/CDC safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
