Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Full-Time Hygiene Assistant to join our Ballantyne team. You will work alongside a supportive clinical team in a fast-paced setting, assisting the hygienist and supporting patient care.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset, with NC X-ray and CPR certifications preferred and DA II training or equivalent. Dental Denticon experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• DA II training or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience assisting hygiene preferred.
• NC X-ray Certification.
• Coronal Polishing Certificate.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Ability to explain treatment plans and insurance information.
• Knowledge of Denticon is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the hygienist daily with diverse workflow.
• Take digital X-rays.
• Collect and record patient health histories and vital signs.
• Follow sterilization protocols for operatory turnover and set up.
• Support patient education and post-appointment instructions.
• Maintain instruments, equipment, and clinical supplies.
• Schedule appointments.
• Support additional clinical-related tasks.
