Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is hiring a Full-Time Dental Assistant II to join our Wilmington, NC team at 6132 Carolina Beach Rd Ste 8. You will work closely with dentists and a supportive clinical staff to deliver compassionate patient care, manage charting, and help maintain a smooth patient flow.

The role requires DAII training or equivalent, NC X-ray and CPR certification, 1–3 years of experience, and the ability to travel to other locations if needed.

Qualifications

• DAII training or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of dental assistant experience preferred.
• NC X-ray Certification required.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within 30 days.
• Able to explain treatment plans and insurance information clearly.
• Willing to travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures.
• Present and review treatment plans with patients.
• Schedule appointments and support patient flow.
• Maintain equipment, instruments, and clinical supply inventory.
• Take and record patient health histories.
• Perform sterilization, operatory turnover, and dental charting.
• Prepare materials and equipment for scheduled procedures.
• Support additional clinical tasks as needed.
