Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a full-time Hygiene Assistant for our Ballantyne team in Charlotte, NC. You will assist the hygienist, take digital X-rays, collect health histories, and support patient care in a fast-paced, growth-oriented clinic.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience assisting hygiene, NC X-ray certification, coronal polishing, and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• DA II training or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience assisting hygiene preferred.
• NC X-ray Certification required.
• Coronal Polishing Certificate desirable.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Knowledge of Denticon a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the hygienist daily with diverse workflow.
• Take digital X-rays.
• Collect and record patient health histories and vital signs.
• Follow sterilization protocols for operatory turnover and setup.
• Support patient education and post-appointment instructions.
• Maintain instruments, equipment, and clinical supplies.
• Schedule appointments.
• Support additional clinical-related tasks.
