Job summary
Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in the Triangle Area is seeking a Full-time Hygiene Assistant II to support the hygienist, present treatment plans to patients, and schedule appointments. The ideal candidate will have CDA certification or NC radiology equivalency, CPR certification, and familiarity with Eaglesoft or Denticon.
Qualifications
- Essential dental assisting certifications or equivalents.
- Ability to present treatment plans to patients.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Assist the hygienist in providing dental treatment.
- Prepare and present treatment plans to patients.
- Schedule patient appointments to accommodate obstacles.
- Maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Record patient health histories.
- Assist with patient management during procedures.
- Complete instrument cleaning, sterilization, and room sanitization.
- Prepare dental materials and equipment for scheduled treatment.
- Complete dental charting.
- Manage inventory and other ancillary duties.
